The Science of the Surface
The Foundation:
We start with a 4" - 6" compacted base of 5/8" minus gravel. This creates a solid, level foundation that prevents "bottoming out" and ensures long-term durability in high-traffic confinement runs. This creates a hard surface that can carry rain water to drainage areas away from the confinement area.
